In 1994, Randy & Kelly Swanson purchased the gas dock from Ralph & Mary to help lessen the burden of running the marina. Kelly took a leave of absence from the insurance agency that she managed (a leave that has yet to end!) to help manage the day-to-day activities of the fuel dock. Under her management, the gas dock grew significantly selling fuel, clothing, and boat rentals at unprecedented levels. The Swanson family continued to run Port of Kimberling Marina & Campground until 2004. During that time, the marina had grown to just over 750 wet slips and 240 dry stack slips. In 2004, Randy & Kelly Swanson bought out the rest of the family in Port of Kimberling Marina. Since then, Randy and Kelly have continued to grow the Port of Kimberling to the more than 1300 slips that it currently has in both wet slips and dry stack. Today, Port of Kimberling offers storage for more than 1400 boats. Our love for boating has been an important part of maximizing our customers boating experience for nearly 33 years. We offer more services and amenities than any other marina on the lake including ski boat rentals, wave runner rentals, pontoon rentals, houseboat rentals, water sports rentals and sales, Sea Tow, fuel dock, campground and cabins, floating café, and boat sales.
